Clare Carson’s The Canary Keeper, centres on a woman accused of murder who must travel to Orkney to clear her name. And Margaret Kirk’s What Lies Buried, set in Inverness, finds DI Lukas Mahler investigating a kidnapping with odd links to a seventy year-old murder.
