APA Young Company gives aspiring theatre makers aged 18-25 an opportunity to develop their skills, share practice, gain industry experience and take control of the artistic process.
Why APA Young Company?
We aim to nurture independence and artistic leadership, encouraging increased responsibility for professional development. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a small group of likeminded young theatre-makers on projects designed and directed by you. You will be supported by one of APA’s experienced drama facilitators, have the opportunity to take part in professional training and development and have access to resources and opportunities across the organisation.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for Young People, aged 18-25 with an interest in working as an ensemble to create interesting, vibrant high quality performances, taking responsibility for all aspects of the production process. Experience is preferred however commitment, a willingness to learn and experiment and an ability to work as part of an ensemble is essential.
Please note that you will be asked to audition to become part of the ensemble.
