MENDELSSOHN Sinfonia No10 in B minor Violin Concerto
MOZART Overture, La clemenza di Tito Sinfonia Concertante, K364

NICOLA BENEDETTI  Violin / Director
BENJAMIN MARQUISE GILMORE  Violin / Director
LAWRENCE POWER   Viola

Are there any stories in music more tragic and inspiring than those of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Felix Mendelssohn? Two child prodigies of thrilling genius, who both died far too early. However, their music has lived on for a grateful world to enjoy ever since. They both wrote concertos that are among the perennial favourites of audiences everywhere. Nicola Benedetti plays both solo and duo (partnered by the superb viola player Lawrence Power) in an unmissable highlight of the Series.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update:

We are seeking further clarification and guidance from Scottish Government to understand nationally what events requiring support from frontline services, such as policing and ambulance cover, will be affected, and to assess the implications for Aberdeen Performing Arts and upcoming shows with attendance over 500.

We would like to assure you that customers will be directly notified of any changes to scheduled events that affect their booking and we will continue to update our website and social media with further information as soon as this is available.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we deal with this matter.
