Monday 1 January 0001 - Thursday 25 April 2019
Join us for the launch of DolphinFest 2019 with special guest speaker BBC Wildlife Cameraman and Photographer, Doug Allan.
Join Doug as he celebrates the marine wildlife of this special part of Scotland in this bespoke talk. From the seabird cities on the cliffs, along miles of sandy beaches and boulder strewn rocky shores dotted with seals, beyond the breakers to the open sea where whales feed in the rich waters – the coastline of Aberdeenshire and offshore are home to many fascinating and exciting marine animals. Among them, the amazing bottlenose dolphins seen regularly at Torry Battery.

DolphinFest is a celebration of the amazing marine wildlife we have in Aberdeen, with special focus on the bottlenose dolphins. We hope to raise the profile of the threats that marine life is facing and encourage people to do their part in protecting it.
DolphinFest is part of the Dolphinwatch project which is generously funded by ScottishPower Foundation and The National Lottery Heritage Fund and led by RSPB Scotland in partnership with Aberdeen City Council and Whale and Dolphin Conservation. DolphinFest is supported by organisations and individuals from across Scotland.
