Overview

Fergus McCreadie Trio

With the release of their third album, Forest Floor in April, Scottish pianist Fergus McCreadie’s trio underlined their status as one of the most exciting young groups in European jazz.

Forest Floor went straight into the official UK Jazz & Blues chart at No 1 – ahead of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga – and has received numerous five-star reviews. The hip Dutch website, Written in Music has described the album as “the most beautiful music you can hear in jazz at the moment” and reviews of the trio’s album launch gig at Ronnie Scott’s in London included the recommendation to “see this trio as soon as possible!”
