Aberdeen Jazz Festival presents Aberdeen Blues Weekend Gala Concert with Maggie Bell and Bernie Marsden

To launch the first ever, Aberdeen Blues Festival we have a special programme from one of Scotland’s all-time blues greats, Maggie Bell, plus ex-Whitesnake guitar hero, Bernie Marsden.

Scottish soul-rock singer Maggie Bell first gained prominence singing with Stone the Crows and her raunchy rock-blues vocals have earned her the title of the Queen of Scottish blues, she is joined by the Sandy Tweeddale band.

From founding Whitesnake to working with Joe Bonamassa, Bernie Marsden has been playing the blues for over 40 years from delta-soul steel to the fast-paced blues rock, He is joined by the John Bruce Band.
