Thursday 21 March
To launch the first ever, Aberdeen Blues Festival we have a special programme from one of Scotland’s all-time blues greats, Maggie Bell, plus ex-Whitesnake guitar hero, Bernie Marsden.
Scottish soul-rock singer Maggie Bell first gained prominence singing with Stone the Crows and her raunchy rock-blues vocals have earned her the title of the Queen of Scottish blues, she is joined by the Sandy Tweeddale band.
From founding Whitesnake to working with Joe Bonamassa, Bernie Marsden has been playing the blues for over 40 years from delta-soul steel to the fast-paced blues rock, He is joined by the John Bruce Band.
Music Hall Transformation
We are currently undertaking the largest and most ambitious project in the history of the venue. The Music Hall Transformation will breathe new life into the building and ensure it is the heartbeat of culture in the North-east of Scotland. There are so many ways that you can show your support to the Music Hall Transformation, and help secure its place at the heart of city life for generations. Please click here to donate and help us reach our goal and be part of the excitement.
