Inverness band, Dorec‐a‐belle, bring their joyous sound of lush harmonies and richly textured instrumentation to the Lemon Tree for the first time. Since winning the Sunday Herald’s Best Unsigned Band Competition in 2013, the group have gone on to gig across Scotland, playing most major festivals and supporting touring artistes including Squeeze, the Magic Numbers and the Staves.

Regulars at the Edinburgh Fringe, they are also radio favourites heard frequently on BBC Scotland’s Iain Anderson show and recently BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends show  with Clive Anderson. With catchy original songs and some well‐chosen covers, the band’s line‐up of saxophone, guitar, accordion, double bass and drums, along with five‐part harmonies, offers a sound from delicate to danceable, poignant to passionate.
