The Lemon Tree
Considered by the media as “Britain’s most exciting new band”, we’re delighted to have Shame open True North 2019. With a reputation for their explosive live performances they are sure to get the festival started with a bang!
The London five piece have swiftly earned a reputation as one of the most visceral and exhilarating live bands in the UK, their combustible shows being honed through a heavy touring schedule in the UK - including an incredible sold out show at the Scala and a personal invite by Billy Bragg to play the Left Field stage at Glastonbury.
Jack, Steve, Mark and Greig make up Rascalton and like most bands of note, the project was spawned from the tinkerings in a garage which somehow became succinct and digestible. Those same nascent noises are now the fully formed, somewhat brutal ruminations on life and love in the city that have come to define the band, with tracks like “Lust” and “Alone” bringing them acclaim from London Town to East Kilbride.
Make a weekend of it!
