Saturday 21 September
Widely revered as one of the best acts to emerge from Scotland in the last decade, The Twilight Sad will perform in Aberdeen for the first time in 6 years when they headline True North 2019 at the redeveloped Music Hall on Saturday 21 September. Endorsed by Robert Smith of The Cure and acclaimed by fans and critics alike, The Twilight Sad are known for their loud and lively performances, notable for their impressive ‘sonic walls’ of sound and accompanied by singer James Graham’s distinctive vocals.
Special guests for this show are acclaimed Scottish duo Aidan Moffat & RM Hubbert.

About True North
True North is Aberdeen’s music festival - located at the heart of the city, the festival features the contemporary music industry’s most interesting, relevant and exciting artists.
Taking place each September, the festival featured a series of unique headline performances in city centre venues, a Fringe programme of free intimate gigs across the city, a chance to be inspired by our masterclass and discussion programme, an amazing gig for kids, and an opportunity to get up close and personal with festival artists.
