A Play, A Pie and A Pint – The Guns of Johnny Diablo

Written by Philip Differ
Directed by Shilpa T-Hyland

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of ‘A Fistful of Dollars’, the BBC are producing a radio version of a recently discovered spaghetti western script called “The Guns of Johnny Diablo”.

Things don’t quite go to plan on the recording when old school actor Jack Emmett clashes with his fellow actors – an arrogant but handsome ex-model and a BAFTA winning actress stuck playing all the badly written female roles.

The Guns of Johnny Diablo is a new hilarious farce about blazing bullets, oversized egos and actors behaving like arses.

Co-presented with Aberdeen Performing Arts.
