SKETCHES
Katie Armstrong’s SKETCHES is a series of three short dance vignettes, set to and inspired by Bach’s’ Violin Concerto in A Minor.
Backed by the live performance of a string quintet and DJ, Composer Mariam Rezaei, four dancers execute this quirky 40 minute production, merging abstract movement, classical strings and electronic sound.
With each community visited on the live tour around Scotland, the company will also deliver the SKETCHES Film Project, capturing excerpts from the live show in iconic local places.
