Overview

Skipinnish

Good things come to those who wait, and after four long years, Scotland’s biggest Celtic band returns to Aberdeen!

After their inaugural visit to the Music Hall back in December 2019, and a very quiet period during lockdown, Skipinnish are now well and truly back in action! The 8-piece band have toured extensively, performing to thousands of fans. Most notably, playing two major outdoor shows in Stirling and Inverness, each to crowds of over 5,000.

Skipinnish will return to Aberdeen in May to share more of their energetic music and classic anthems to fans in what they promise will be a superb summer celebration. The band are well-known for hits such as Walking on the Waves, The Island, Alive, Western Ocean and their latest single, Summer Call; many of which are inspired by Scotland’s gorgeous land and seascapes.

This will be only the second time Skipinnish have played at the Music Hall in Aberdeen, but they can’t wait to return with co-founder of the band, Angus MacPhail saying; “We’ve had so many requests to do a show in Aberdeen and we are delighted to finally be returning to the Aberdeen Music Hall in May. There is a very strong Skipinnish fanbase in the North East of Scotland and we are very excited to be taking our music to them next year!”
