Mark O’Keeffe (trumpet) and Sasha Savaloni (guitar) present new works by Scottish composers Mingdu Li, Reese Carly Manglicmot, Kate Sagovsky, Max Syedtollan, and Stephen Chase, resulting from a 3-month composer development opportunity supported by composer Karen Power.

Presented in association with Aberdeen Performing Arts and Red Note Ensemble.

soundfestival’s spotlight gigs are a series of 30 minute concerts aimed at giving increased visibility to emerging and/or local composers and performers. Supported by Creative Scotland, the PRS for Music Foundation Talent Development Partner programme, Aberdeen City Council, Radcliffe Trust, Fenton Arts Trust, Hugh Fraser Foundation and The William Syson Foundation.”
