Shaun Ryder, one of the most charismatic frontmen in the music business and legendary leader of seminal Manchester bands Happy Mondays and Black Grape comes to the Lemon Tree an up close and personal evening.

Shaun Ryder formed Happy Mondays in 1980, released two classic albums ‘Bummed’ in 1988 followed by ‘Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches’ 2 years later. Following that he formed Black Grape releasing another unforgettable album ‘It’s Great When You’re Straight.. Yeah’.

As a solo artist he has recorded songs with members of Talking Heads, Russell Watson and a collaboration with Gorillaz amongst many others.

He has also been seen on several TV shows, finishing as runner up ‘I’m a Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2010. He has also hosted his own show on The History Channel, ‘Shaun Ryder on UFOs’
Shaun has written 2 books, The Sunday Times bestseller 'Twisting My Melon' and 'What Planet Am I on?'
