From You Tube to Brexit, we are now living through times of unprecedented social and cultural change. How can the arts be responsive to this change? What place will cultural industries have in the world of tomorrow? What challenges and opportunities will young emerging artists face in the years to come and how  can we prepare ourselves to meet them? Join our panel of industry experts as they share insights into how to approach a career in the arts during times of uncertainty.

The panel for this discussion is:

  • Simon Gall- musician, composer and arranger from Aberdeen
  • Bruce Wallace-  brass instructor for Aberdeenshire Council and accomplished youth conductor
  • Lou Brodie-  performance maker and applied artist based in Scotland
  • Mel Jordan- physical theatre practitioner & coordinator for ‘Surge’
  • Jacky Hardacre- Chief Executive of Scottish Youth Theatre
