Overview

Symphony in Grey by Mae Diansangu

SYMPHONY IN GREY is a poetic exploration of time and place in Aberdeen. The title is borrowed from the 1999 Lonely Planet’s Guide, which described the Northeast Scottish city as “an extraordinary symphony in grey.” This collection of poems invites readers to meander down familiar streets and engage with a multifaceted greyness of complex tones; sometimes devoid of warmth, but never of spirit.

Symphony in Grey is currently available to view at the Music Hall.
