The Bloody Marys 2021 Christmas Wrap-up!
After a year and a half of enduring the strange world of the pandemic and lock downs, we all haven’t had much to celebrate. However, that is set to change as the Aberdeen’s funniest tribute band The Bloody Marys announce their triumphant return to normality. Well, as close as they can get anyway. The Monsters of Frock return to the Lemon Tree with their 2021 Christmas Wrap up!
Singer Ian Gray says, “Our Christmas Show is always a favourite and after the dreadful time everyone has had over the past 18 months, Aberdeen deserves a PARTY!!!
We have spent lockdown shaking up the set and as if that wasn’t enough, ABBA has promised us a Christmas song. 2021 is indeed saved. Don’t worry though, if it isn’t any good, we’ll play something else!! All the usual nonsense and fun is guaranteed. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again, as we know this year will be that little bit extra special.”
The band, which consists of Ian Gray on vocals, guitarist Barry Dodds and Steve Morrison on keyboards, have been wowing crowds since 1994. In the nineties they sold out the Capitol Theatre two years in a row and won the title of Holsten Pils band of the year 1995. Their farewell concert in 1999 sold out the Music Hall. The band reformed in 2011 to the delight of their fans.
