Saturday 20 April 2019 – 10am

Sunday 21 April 2019 – 11am

Find your own way through the back streets of the city. Visit ignored spaces free from commerce and control. Get to know the hidden environments of graffiti writers, street artists and other outcasts. This walk is preceded by a presentation from Javier Abarca as part of Nuart Plus - Street Art Conference, taking place on Friday 19 April, 3:30pm at Belmont Filmhouse. We recommend attending this presentation to all coming on the walk, to understand the ideas that give it meaning.

The walk will depart from Belmont Filmhouse and will take approximately two and a half hours. The walk will run come rain or shine and we suggest comfortable shoes and clothing for all weathers!

Please be aware those attending this event are responsible for their own safety during the walk. Roads will not be closed on the walk route and cars/other pedestrians may need to pass. Please exercise due caution when crossing roads and use pedestrian crossings where possible. This walk may take routes down uneven paths and staircases and attendees should be conscious of slip or trip hazards.

All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children should remain beside parents/carers at all times. For more information on Nuart Aberdeen Festival, please visit
