Overview

Delve Workshop Writing at the End of the World – a dystopian fiction workshop with Rachelle Atalla

By nature, humans are curious creatures, so it is only natural that we allow our minds to envision our greatest fears. Unhindered by the constraints of reality, dystopian fiction is a space where we can interrogate what connects the individual to the social, exploring anything from class structure and our political landscape to gender. Through a combination of readings, discussion and writing exercises, the workshop will consider some of the essential ingredients for writing authentic and compelling dystopian fiction.

About Delve

DELVE is an eclectic weekend of music, spoken word, workshops and discussions chosen especially this year by guest curator; poet, film and theatre maker Leyla Josephine. DELVE is our invitation for you to dive in, look beneath the surface and join Leyla’s Party at the End of the World (as we know it). Times may be dark but we can still celebrate!
