Our Story

Aberdeen Performing Arts is a multi-award winning, multi-site, arts charity right at the centre of North-east of Scotland.

Our three iconic city centre venues; His Majesty’s Theatre, the Music Hall and the Lemon Tree, are all on a national and international touring circuit for the performing arts and a vital part of Aberdeen and Scotland’s cultural landscape.

We believe the performing arts benefit the lives of everyone. 

Aberdeen Performing Arts is a charity committed to making a creative contribution to the arts, the visitor economy and city centre regeneration for the people of Aberdeen, the North-east of Scotland and beyond.

We bring and curate a diverse programme including musical theatre, music, dance, comedy, theatre and festivals to audiences and visitors as well as being a key conference and events destination in the North-east of Scotland.

Our production company, Freshly Squeezed Productions creates work, projects and opportunities for artists and creative practitioners in the North-east to bring tomorrows huge acts to the stage today.
