Overview

Wonder Hoose Local Music Night: The Broken Creels, Coxy & Ashleigh and Marc Culley

‘The Broken Creels’ are an Aberdeenshire based band comprising of Daz Alexander (The Dawntreaders, Sonic Buckers) on drums, Colin Clyne (award-winning singer songwriter) on vocals, guitar, harmonica, Lee Heinemann (Eskimo Blonde) on bass guitar and Tom Ward (Parker, The Carrons) on guitar / keys.

This collaborative catch has been pulled from the depths of the North Sea brimming with influences such as The Doors, Humble Pie, Nick Cave, Death in Vegas, Bob Dylan and CCR.

After years playing in various bands in Scotland, Coxy & Ashleigh have spent the last few years writing for artists on both sides of the Atlantic. Inspired by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Richard Hawley and Neil Young. They are now working on their debut EP due to be released in 2022.

Marc Culley began playing gigs in 2014 around his hometown Peterhead, Scotland. After breaking into the local scene Marc was given the opportunity to support ‘Modern Faces’ in Aberdeen off the back of their recent support slots with Kasabian. Marc continued to play up and down the UK supporting the likes of Sergeant, Alias Kid, KyleFalconer (The View), The Bicycle Thieves and most notably Lewis Capaldi. Over the past 5-years, Marc has been working on his live performance and gigging as much as he possibly could whilst writing and recording new material. The first of this new material is single “See Feel Love” followed by the highly popular “Outta My Mind”
