We are a multi award winning arts charity, named Business of the Year in North-east Scotland in 2019.
We sit at the heart of cultural, community and civic life in the North-east making a creative contribution to the arts, the visitor economy, city centre regeneration and placemaking.
We manage three iconic city centre cultural venues - His Majesty’s Theatre, the Music Hall and The Lemon Tree,
We curate three festivals – Granite Noir, book festival, True North, indie music festival and Light the Blue, our youth arts festival.
Our production company, Freshly Squeezed Productions makes work and acts as a talent pipeline for artists and creative practitioners in the North-east.
We curate and commission work for the Stepping In digital artspace at the Music Hall.
Our creative learning team works with adults, families and young people and in vulnerable communities across the North-east.
In 2019 we staged 814 performances to an audience of 364,475 paying attenders and welcomed more than 1,250,000 visitors through the doors.
Our venues are also a key conference and events destination in the North-east. In 2019 we have held 65 conferences and events attended by 32,000 delegates. We run two restaurants, two café bars and 6 bars.
We act as a ticket agency for more than 50 cultural venues and festivals across the North East .
