His Majesty’s Theatre is located on the Rosemount Viaduct, next door to the Aberdeen Central Library. The main entrance is on Rosemount Viaduct, with Stage Door located on Skene Street.
The Music Hall is located on Union Street.
The Lemon Tree is located on West North Street, just along from the King Street junction. The main entrance is on West North Street, with Stage Door and disabled access on Shoe Lane.
The Denburn, Loch Street and Harriet Street car parks are all a short walk from our venues. The Gallowgate car parks are also very convenient for attending the Lemon Tree.
Disabled permit holders can park in the designated parking bays outside the old foyer doors of His Majesty’s Theatre, or alternatively in the bays on Union Terrace.
There are bus stops directly outside all three of our venues, and also within short walking distances. Service maps for First Bus can be found here.
If you are travelling by train, Aberdeen train station is a two minute walk from Union Street from where you will be able to reach any of our venues within minutes.
Enjoy a beautiful pre-theatre meal in the 1906 Restaurant at His Majesty’s Theatre. Serving a delicious contemporary menu, featuring locally-sourced produce, a reservation at 1906 will enhance your theatre-going experience. The restaurant is open from 10.30am every day, with a pre-theatre menu from 5pm – 7.30pm; then à la carte menu available after 7.30pm.
There is no formal dress code for attending a show at our venues, other than the prohibition of sporting jerseys such as football shirts.
